Hi, my husband and I recently purchased a new home from New Leaf Homes in San Antonio, Texas. We of course were like many couples - filled with excitement, trust and absolute joy because we were under the impression we were building the home of our dreams only to find out, it has been an awful nightmare.

From the very beginning we were wrongfully led by New Leaf homes and all that represent that company. They even made an attempt to get us to sign and close on the house with all of our blue tape still up in the house and THANK GOD my husband got up on the roof - only to find holes and falling off shingles. Anyhow, moving forward, we close on our house (November 2015) and are in the home for about a month I would say and that's when all the other major problems start to accumulate and fall into place.
I have and will be working on this blog site to educate those potential buyers who are looking into purchasing a New Leaf home. I will list my issues along with pictures so you can gain an idea of what you will be getting yourself into.
I am not the only person in my neighborhood who have gone through similar things and much more - I think we are on the 4th or 5th home now that has had a sign hung on the outside of their home "BUYERS BEWARE" and I am soon going to be the next!
So, get ready for a ride... please take the time to carefully look at each picture and read the drawn out process. This will hopefully help you make the deciding factor to NOT purchase a New Leaf home in any neighborhood in San Antonio, Texas!
